Good and Evil Powerpoint

Good 1 - Jesus
Jesus was born in 4bc in Bethlehem. He is the central figure of Christianity. Jesus is considered the incarnation of God and his teachings an example for living a more spiritual life. Christians believe he died for the sins of all people and rose from the dead. Most of Jesus’ life is told through the four Gospels of the New Testament Bible. Jesus is well known by all. I consider Jesus to be a good person for what he went through to save his friends and family.

Good 2 – Steve Irwin
Steve Irwin was born on the 22nd of February in1962. He died on the 4th of September in 2006 after being pierced in the chest by a stingray barb while filming an underwater documentary film titled Ocean's Deadliest.  . He was nicknamed "The Crocodile Hunter“ and was an Australian wildlife expert, television personality, and conservationist. Steve and his wife Terri also owned and operated Australia Zoo which is located in Beerwah. Together they had two children: a daughter, Bindi Sue Irwin and a son, Robert Clarence "Bob“. I consider Steve Irwin as a good person as he always put his life in front of others.

Good 3 - Martin Luther King
Martin Luther King was born on January 15th in 1929. He was an American clergyman, activist, and leader in the African-American Civil Rights Movement. He is best known for his role in the advancement of civil rights using nonviolent civil disobedience. At the age of thirty-five, Martin Luther King, Jr., was the youngest man to have received the Nobel Peace Prize. I consider Martin Luther King a good Samaritan as  when he was notified of his selection for the Nobel Peace Prize, he announced that he would turn over the prize money of $54,123 to the furtherance of the civil rights movement.

Good 4 – Oprah Winfrey
Oprah Winfrey is born on January the 29th in 1954. She is an American media proprietor, talk show host, actress, producer, and philanthropist. Winfrey is best known for her self-titled, multi-award-winning talk show "The Oprah Winfrey Show" which was the highest-rated program of its kind in history and was nationally syndicated from 1986 to 2011. She has been ranked the richest African-American of the 20th century, the greatest black philanthropist in American history, and was for a time the world's only black billionaire. I consider Oprah a good Samaritan because although she is very rich she is also a very generous lady as she donates her money, builds schools in third world countries and gives away money and holidays on her show.

Good 5 – Mother Teresa
Mother Teresa was born on 26th of August in 1910.  She founded the Missionaries of Charity, a Roman Catholic religious congregation, which in 2012 consisted of over 4,500 sisters and is active in 133 countries. They run hospices and homes for people with HIV/AIDS, leprosy and tuberculosis; soup kitchens; children's and family counselling programmes; orphanages; and schools. Members of the order must adhere to the vows of chastity, poverty and obedience, and the fourth vow, to give "Wholehearted and Free service to the poorest of the poor".

Evil 1 – Martin Bryant
Martin Bryant is born on the 7th of May in 1967. He is an Australian spree killer who pled guilty to murdering 35 people and injuring 21 others in the Port Arthur massacre, a shooting spree in Port Arthur, Tasmania, Australia, in 1996. He is currently serving 35 life sentences plus 1,035 years without parole in the psychiatric wing of Risdon Prison in Hobart, Tasmania. His rampage ranks among the deadliest of the 20th century. I consider Martin Bryant an evil person for what he did in the Port Arthur Massacre. Many people were killed. Some being whole families and kids.

Evil 2 – Joseph Kony
Joseph Kony is born in 1961. He is the leader of the Lord's Resistance Army. Joseph Kony and the Lord’s Resistance Army have been abducting, killing, and displacing civilians in East and central Africa since 1987. Kony has been accused by government entities of ordering the abduction of children to become child-sex slaves and child soldiers. An estimated 66,000 children became soldiers. And from 1986 until about 2009, there were at least 2 million people internally displaced. I consider Kony an evil person because he has taken away many kids from their families.

Evil 3 - Adolf Hitler
Adolf Hitler was born on the 20th of April in 1889. He was the leader of Germany from 1932 to May 1945 and the leader of the Nazi Party. After Germany was defeated in World War I the Allies decided to punish Germany by firstly blaming the cause of WWI on Germany and then by forcing Germany to sign humiliating peace treaties. They also implemented a policy called the Final Solution - which was the Nazis attempt to kill every Jew in Europe by taking them to death camps and gassing them to death. It is estimated almost 6 million Jews were killed. I consider Adolf Hitler an evil person as he was in charge of killing an estimated 6 million Jews who would have had a family.

Evil 4 - Max Sica
Max Sica is a convicted triple murderer, having been found guilty of killing his former girlfriend Neelma Singh, and her siblings Kunal and Sidhi in April 2003 while their parents were away on a holiday in Fiji. Sica is from an Italian family. Prior to the murders, he had numerous criminal convictions, including unlawful possession of a firearm and arson. Sica was also charged with 21 sex offences. I consider Max Sica an evil person as he killed 3 innocent girls leaving their parents devastated.

Evil 5 – Osama Bin Laden
Osama Bin Laden was born on March the 10th in 1957 and died on May the 2nd in 2011 at the age of 54. Bin Laden was on the American Federal Bureau of Investigation's lists of Ten Most Wanted Fugitives and Most Wanted Terrorists for his involvement in the 1998 U.S. embassy bombings. He was also believed responsible for the 9/11 attacks in the United States in 2001 and other terrorist acts. From 2001 to 2011, bin Laden was a major target of the War on Terror, with a US$25 million bounty by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. On May the 2nd, 2011, bin Laden was shot and killed inside a private residential compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, by members of the United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group and Central. I consider Osama Bin Laden an evil person as he was the one that organised the 9/11 attacks killing many people.
